Correlation between CVI, flow pattern & neovascular activity in treatment naive eyes of ARMD.

Material&Method:Cross-sectional analysis of 46 Rx naive eyes diagnosed with exudative ARMD.Patients underwent SD OCT,FFA,ICGA&OCTA.The CVI&OCTA vascular features at initial&last visit were analyzed after VEGF Rx,which were correlated with disease activity on SD-OCT& OCTA. Results:Mean age was 66.3±7.2 years.Mean SFCT was 215.3±102.3 µm at baseline&198.4±101.0 µm at 3month(p=0.07).The mean CVI was 63.7±5.2% at baseline&64.5±4.8% at 3month(p=0.7).Pattern of network on OCTA was sea-fan in 20,medusa head in 8, indistinct in 18 at baseline&sea-fan in 6,medusa head in 6,indistinct in 28&mixed in 6 at 3month.The signs of activity on OCT changes after 3month(p =0.001).On OCTA 36eyes had active network at baseline&34 eyes had inactive network at the last follow up (p=0.001).Conclusion:CVI showed no correlation with various patterns of CNV&no significant change with anti VEGF Rx.Post Rx network patterns showed no significant correlation with OCT activity even though OCTA showed an active network
