Glaucoma

Serial OCTA Analysis In Glaucoma Patients Following Supra threshold Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty

Aim To analyse the Optic nerve head changes using OCT-A study in glaucoma patients following Supra threshold SLT
Methods A retrospective study was conducted of 42 eyes with POAG treated with SLT at Uma eye clinic with 1 year follow up . All the 42 eyes were treatment naïve. All patients were subjected to optic nerve head OCT-A prior to SLT and at day 1,7 ,1M, 3M, 6M ,1 year. The SSADA was used to analyse the Retinal fibre layer, Vessel density and Ganglion cell complex.
Results The effect of SLT on IOP in this study was significant (−7.7%) significant. There were non significant changes in the whole disc vessel density, inside disc vessel density and peripapillary vessel density. RNFL and GCC analysis were non significant implying the delay in glaucoma progression following SLT.
Conclusion Following SLT there was a significant IOP reduction andchanges observed in optic nerve head OCT A analysis at 1 year , implying delay in glaucoma progrssion
