A CASE OF TB CHRONIC GRANULOMATOUS PANUVEITIS,COMPLICATED CATARACT, MACULAR EDEMA AND OPTIC NEURITIS
A case of a 45 y/o female with h/o pulmonary Tuberculosis presented to us with diminution of vision in both eyes since 8 months, sudden in onset, progressive in nature, associated with diffuse redness. On examination, her VA in right eye was perception of light & accurate perception of rays, left eye was counting fingers at 2 meters. Anterior segment examination both eyes showed pigmented KPs & 1+ cells and flare. Seclusio pupillae in right eye and festooned pupil in left eye, non reactive to light. Lens- posterior subcapsular cataract in both eyes with pigments on the anterior lens capsule. Right eye fundus had no view & left depicted vitritis, blurred disc margins, multiple hyper pigmented spots, retinitis and Macular edema. Old B scan USG showed dot & membranous opacities of moderate to high echogenecity in the vitreous cavity in both eyes s/o moderate vitritis. She was started on ATT, oral & topical steroids. Last follow up, eye was quiet & cataract surgery planned.
