A case of ? exorcism : DEVIC’S DISEASE

18 year old female presented with painful progressive loss of vision in both eye associated with headache since 3 days. Ocular examination revealed vision of counting finger close to face in right eye and 6/60 vision in left eye. Ocular pain present on movements without restriction in right eye. Fundus of both eyes revealed temporal pallor. MRI brain was done which revealed right eye optic neuritis involving entire length with mild fat stranding and left eye optic neuritis  involving anterior end of nerve. Blood investigations revealed Strongly positive anti-MOG IgG antibodies .Patient was given intravenous methylprednisolone For 5 days and bridged with oral steroids. Patients vision improved from counting finger close to face to 6/60 in right eye and 6/60 to 6/12 in left eye.
