A project on building a surgical induced astigmatism calculator app using Android studio application

Aim: To build a mathematical code for SIA vector based on Pythagorean theory
Methods: Android studio downloaded and installed from https://developer.android.com. Select empty activity after opening a new project from the file menu. Type project name and click the finish button. A gradle is built consisting of activity_main.xml and MainActivity.java files for design and writing java code respectively.Text box and functioning buttons from the palette are added to the layout and is executed on the emulator. Coding starts in the MainActivity.java file by declaring the variables under the main activity program. Variables are type casted under on-create function. Coding for formulas is given for the buttons on-click function. 
Results: Resultant SIA magnitude and axis calculated by taking square root of sum squares of Kh and Kv and by tan inverse function respectively
Conclusion: User need to input only preop and postop Kh and Kv values and resultant SIA vector is thus calculated instantly.
