TERSON SYNDROME: A CASE OF INTRAOCULAR HEMORRHAGE SECONDARY TO INTRACEREBRAL HEMORRHAGE

A 4year old male with alleged history of road traffic accident with sustained injury to forehead, transient loss of consciousness and an episode of seizure. Anterior segment was normal on examination with bilateral reactive pupils. On MDCT brain, acute SAH in right fronto temporal cortical sulci and thin acute SDH noted along right fronto parietal convexity with maximum cranio cortical thickness of 2 mm. On fundus examination, a large preretinal hemorrhage near the macula and few smaller preretinal hemorrhages with circular outline near the optic disc in the right eye suggestive of TERSON SYNDROME
