Know accurate biometry know happy patients, no accurate biometry no happy patients!
Digital Biometry plays a vital role in the management of modern day cataract surgery. Here we would like to elaborate the way to go about it in different scenarios. This instruction course throws light about the importance of biometry in various conditions and role of conventional biometry as compared to the newer optical biometry, biometry in pediatric cases where the effective lens position is vital to prevent amblyopia, how to deal with previous refractive surgery patients opting for advanced IOLs and how to go about biometry in these cases, biometry in advanced glaucoma with angle closure and open angles in short and long eyes respectively.
This IC will also throw light on current generation formulae which are the most accurate for todays practice.
The chief instructor has been experienced with cataract and refractive surgeries over the past 7 years. Achieving excellent honours during residency and practice, he wishes to share his insight to the current generation of ophthalmologists and to fine tune one of the most sought after area of interest - BIOMETRY in cataract practice.
He has to his record more than 10000 cataract surgeries with premium IOL implantation and more than 1000 refractive surgeries. With excellent oratory skills and a very efficient team, he wishes to drive forward his intent of biometry in todays practice.
