Don't See Myopia with Short Sight
Myopia is a common refractive error in children. The prevalence of myopia is increasing and becoming a global public health problem across the world, especially in the post covid era. High myopia is associated with retinal problems, glaucoma and cataract leading to visual impairment. Control of myopia progression is essential to prevent the growing population of visual impairment.
The chief instructor is working as a pediatric ophthalmologist at a tertiary eye care institution for the past 15 years. She has seen a lot of children with myopic refractive error and have experience in managing this condition. She has done various research works regarding the same. She has done various instruction courses and paper presentations in state and national conferences. she has trained various fellows and DNB students and hence has experience in teaching.
