A RARE PRESENTATION OF ALPORT SYNDROME

PURPOSE
To demonstrate a rare presentation of Alport syndrome 
CASE HISTORY
28year old male patient presented with gradual diminuation of vision of both eyes since 10years.No other significant ocular or systemic history was present.On examination bilateral best corrected visual acuity was 5/60both eyes,on retinoscopy -40sphere and -2.25cylinder was present both eyes.On slit lamp.examination,anterior and posterior lenticonus was present in right eye and posterior lenticonus present in left eye .
RESULT
On ear evaluation patient had moderate sensory neuralhearing loss both ear and on urine examination moderate protienuria and hematuria
CONCLUSION
Alport syndrome is a combination of ocular,renal and 
ear abnormalities
